Privacy policy

1. What we collect

• —Your name, phone number and email
• —Pickup and delivery addresses, with the gate, floor and door details you add
• —Your orders: items, services, instructions, timings and amounts
• —Messages you send to a rider or a laundromat in the app
• —The reviews and ratings you leave

We do not store your card number or your M-Pesa PIN. Payments run through the payment provider, and we keep only the result and the last four digits of a card.

2. Why we need it

To fulfil your order: show you laundromats that cover your area, price the items you send, get a rider to your gate, take payment and keep you posted on where your clothes are.

We also use order history to settle claims and to pay laundromats correctly.

3. Who else sees it

The laundromat and the rider on an order see the details they need for that order: your name, phone number, address and what you sent. They see nothing about your other orders.

Laundromats and riders may not use your details for anything other than the order, and may not market to you directly. Report it to us if one does.

We also share what is needed with our payment provider and with hosting and messaging services that run the app. We do not sell your data.

4. Location

Location is used to place the pin when you set a pickup address and to sort laundromats by distance. You can type an address instead, and you can turn the permission off at any time in your phone's settings.

5. How long we keep it

Order records are kept while a claim window is open and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Saved addresses and payment methods stay until you delete them. Close your account and we delete what we are not required to keep.

6. Your choices

• —See and edit your details in Profile
• —Delete a saved address or payment method whenever you like
• —Turn off marketing messages and keep only order updates
• —Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account

The Data and privacy centre in the app holds these controls. You can also email us and we will action it.
